Fireworks Fiesta
Each year on the Saturday closest to November 5th, LODDON VALLEY LIONS CLUB organise a spectacular Fireworks Display at Wellington Country Park, by kind permission of His Grace The Duke of Wellington.
Safety is enhanced by the fireworks being located on an island in the middle of a large lake, which is inaccessible to and well distanced from members of the public.
Our 2009 event attracted many thousands of visitors and the weather held off until after the event was over and we were able to earn in excess of £16,000 to support our humanitarian projects in our community and, the wider world.
Our sincere thanks to all the members of the public who supported us on the night and also, to all those who helped us in the organisation and running of this very succesful event.
