Tadley Treacle Fair 2012

The 2012 Tadley Treacle Fair will form part of the Local Community celebrations of HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Weekend and will be held on the traditional Treacle Fair date, Sunday 3rd June 2012.

Normally, this would be our major fund raising event for the year, but for the Jubilee Weekend in 2012 only, we shall make this a community event and reduce admission charges to £1 per person (No concessions or child reductions) in an effort to involve the whole community.

We hope to organise some fun events to involve local Pubs and Clubs and also, children and families. We are also in discussion to try and resurrect the procession of former years, but will want to make this special, with a local King and Queen and properly decorated floats.

As well all the usual features of the Treacle Fair (arena events, side shows, charity, craft and trade stands, childrens area, etc., but NO Car Boot Sale) we are trying to make this event special.
