Tadley Treacle Fair Weekend 2014
This year's Tadley Treacle Fair was held at Saunders Fields, Tadley RG26 4FF commencing on Friday 30th May at 8pm when Revoc Rocks, performed songs from their 'History of Rock Show' in the main marquee.
This was followed by 'Picnic in the Park on Saturday 31 May, when the Tadley Concert Brass joined forces with the Tadley Singers and two soloists Maria Chung and Gerraint Thomas, to provide an afternoon of popular tunes and songs for the picnicers.
The Treacle Fair itself took place on Sunday 1st June and featured the usual mix of spectacular Arena Displays and the traditional procession from Burnham Copse School. This was led by the Reading Scottish Pipe Band and a horse drawn carriage carrying the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Cllr Roger Gardiner, the Mayoress and the Treacle Fair King and Queen.
